Erol Büyükburç - Allahım Beni de Gör (1974): Erol Büyükburç, one of the biggest names of Turkish rock music history with 6 phonograph records, 5 long play, a large number of 45's, 9 casettes, nearly 200 awards, and about 1800 composition.
He started his music career in 1952 with İsmet Sıral Orchestra. A few years later, he founded Erol Büyükburç and Vocal Band, called the representative of doo-wop and Platters-style music in Turkey. To record his songs named Little Lucy, Kiss Me, Lover’s Wish, and “Memorie” on phonograph records was a milestone in his career, on the way to stardom.
In 1964 Büyükburç received the Best Singer Award in the Balkan Music Festival. The next year, he won the Bosphorus Music Festival Award. His 45’s named Allah’ım Beni De Gör / Civciv Çıkacak Kuş Çıkacak was released in 1975.
